About
My name is Bai Longyun.I am an artist from China. For many years, my practice has focused on the encounter between the individual and the world, particularly the ways in which individuals confront uncertainty, limitation, and the struggles embedded within existence. Through sculpture, installation, image, and moving image, I explore and express these states of being — the tension between vulnerability and resilience, confinement and the desire for freedom. For me, an artwork is not created to provide answers. Rather, it creates a space of possibility, offering both myself and the viewer an opportunity to move beyond suppression, to experience awareness, and to approach a sense of freedom.
